VidiU Go - overcoming every streaming hurdle

The VidiU Go is a pocket-sized encoder that has the best chance of getting you webstreaming, reliably and from any location. VidiU Go is designed to get you out of trouble: it can handle:

Every Connection

  • Stream over WiFi or Ethernet networks
  • Stream using a cellular USB dongle or by tethering your smartphone
  • Stream using dual high-powered cellular Teradek Nodes with external high gain antennae
  • Stream using the combined data of your available WiFi, Ethernet and cellular connections (requires Sharelink or Core for de-bonding in the cloud)

Poor Connections

If you can’t get enough bandwidth to sustain streaming reliable over WiFi, Ethernet or cellular (or a combination of all three), VidiU Go can still come to your rescue. VidiU Go supports both H.264 and HEVC compression, allowing you to choose the technology best suited to your project. HEVC video compression offers the same video quality as H.264 at around half the required bandwidth. This makes it perfect for slow connections or saving on data costs when streaming over cellular networks.

Every Channel, Every Network

Standalone, VidiU Go can stream to your favourite channel – Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Periscope, Twitch etc. But what if you want to go live to multiple audiences at the same time? Vidiu Go works hand in glove with Teradek’s cloud platforms, ShareLink and Core. With these services, you can go live to multiple audiences, groups and audiences simultaneously. Simply send one stream to the cloud, and leave Teradek to do the rest.
